Good news for fans of Nordic noir. Norwegian master of Scandinavian crime fiction, Jo Nesbø, is coming to Budapest in April as a guest of the annual International Book Festival.

Jo Nesbø, the man behind Nordic noir’s famous literary detective, the hard-drinking Harry Hole, is to make a special appearance at the Budapest International Book Festival, taking place at the Millenáris Park between 23-26 April 2020. No more details are currently available, although a special event will be created around the 59-year-old bestselling author.

Nesbø has been responsible for a dozen books in the popular detective series, including the most recent, Knive, and The Snowman, adapted into a film starring Michael Fassbender and Val Klimer.

The Oslo-based author has sold some 35 million books worldwide, translated into 40 languages.
