Hollywood stars are flocking to Budapest these days. With Denis Villeneuve's Dune remake currently being filmed in the Hungarian capital, news has just broken that Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow movie will be shot here as well. Great locations, talented film crews and attractive tax breaks should continue to lure the biggest names in show business to Budapest.

Black Widow will be a Marvel all-action adventure movie starring Scarlett Johansson, reprising her role of a former Russian spy in a prequel to Avengers. Lined up to direct is Australian Cate Shortland, whom Johansson was keen on taking the helm.  Shooting will take place across several locations – Budapest yet to be officially confirmed.

The news of Johansson’s imminent arrival comes hot on the heels of last week’s musical meet-up between Dune stars Jason Momoa, Oscar Isaac and Timothée Chalamet, jamming backstage with jazz star Al Di Meola at MoMKult.
