British rock icons Muse have just been confirmed for Budapest. Winners of multiple music awards, including two Grammys, the performers of ‘Supermassive Black Hole’ and ‘The Dark Side’ tread the boards at the Budapest Aréna on 28 May as part of their Simulation Theory world tour. The concert series kicks off in February in Houston, Texas, and takes the multi-platinum band across the US, Canada, the UK and major European cities.

Brand-new album Simulation Theory by Muse is due for release on 9 November. Preordering the record on the band’s official website includes early access to tour tickets on 13 November from 10am CET. This option is also granted to members of the official Muse fan club.

Live Nation members holding a pre-registration for the Budapest concert can start purchasing tickets on 15 November from 10am. General ticket sale begins on 16 November at 10am – visit the Live Nation website.

Formed in 1994, Muse earned wider international recognition after the 2006 release of their fourth studio album Black Holes and Revelations that fused alternative rock with electronic and pop elements.

With the launch of concept album Drones three years ago, the band returned to a harder rock sound. During their career, Muse have earned numerous awards, including two Grammys, two Brit Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards, ten NME and seven Q Awards. Leading British music magazine Q refers to Muse act as the “greatest show on Earth”.
