On the other side of the Grand Boulevard from the ever-busy nightlife vortex 15 minutes away in the heart of District VII, the far end of Király Street is a treasure trove of obscure shops and businesses. One is now housing a sassy new enterprise, Roots Budapest, where you can read, have a coffee, listen to music, meet new people, get a tattoo or just discuss your week with a beer in hand. Behind the venture are two Hungarians who share a personal experience of Shoreditch and Camden, hence the decent music and funky atmosphere.
