One of Hungary’s most beloved new festivals – which launched last summer in a wide-open meadow amid the Buda Hills – will welcome everyone for five days this year. While complete details about the 2017 Kolorádó Festival have yet to be finalized, many bands are already confirmed to perform there, and tickets are available now.

After receiving rave reviews when it made its debut last summer, Budapest’s Kolorádó Festival – with the motto “Festival from Pest in the Buda Hills” – will be held again during June 7-11 this year to welcome mellow merrymakers for five days of live music and fresh-air fun, extended from its original three-day duration in 2016.

The Kolorádó Festival will again be held in the Sztrilich Pál Scout Park in Buda’s Adyliget open space, and the names of some performers were recently announced. We’ll be able to party to the music of Blawan (UK), Africaine 808 (GER), Tama Sumo (GER), Anima Sound System’s new project called Stockhausen Syndrome, Gustave Tiger, Zagar, Volkova Sister, Elefánt, Middlemist Red, and Fran Palermo under the starry sky – and BEAK>, the new formation of composer-producer Portishead, will make its first appearance in Hungary here, too. You can find a more extensive list of performers here, and you can watch a video of scenes from last year’s festival below:

Tickets for the 2017 Kolorádó Festival are already available at the Toldi Klub; check out the official website or Facebook page for more info.
