We’ve waited a long time, but the increasingly popular Hungarian band Fran Palermo finally debuted their first music video, shot for the song “Fritz Rock” – featuring many scenes filmed on location out and about in Budapest.

Fran Palermo is one of Hungary’s most popular bands today; they always throw great concerts with the stage full of their many musicians, and have been filling event venues with people for years now. Therefore, it’s a bit odd that they only recently released their first music video. The shaking camerawork and the ’90s atmosphere are the work of director Áron Szabó, according to whom the music video is a “symbolic story about a little boy who, in the morning, packs his memories into a suitcase just to get rid of them by throwing it into the river.” The ultimate fate of the suitcase is revealed in the video, which you can watch below:

The music video is energetic and full of life, similar to the band’s music, and features singer Henri Gonzo, as well as various parts of the city, such as the Átrium Theater, Elizabeth Bridge, metro line 3, and the Danube, on numerous occasions.
