The finalists of the Media Architectural Prize 2016 were recently announced, and in addition to the buildings that earned recognition by the international jury of professionals, there will also be an edifice that wins an audience award, for which anyone can vote until November 28th. We now present the best Budapest candidates, but we also recommend taking a look at the fresh constructions in the countryside as well, as we are happy to see so many stunning and freshly built innovative buildings around Hungary.

“Hungarian architecture is at the forefront,” said Indira van’t Klooster, the editor in chief of the Dutch A10 Magazine, and the president of the Media Architecture Prize’s professional judges. This year, the international jury allocated five plans and six buildings to the final ceremony that will be happening on December 11th, 2016 at 5pm at the Uránia National Film Theater.

If you’d like to have a say in who should be the audience-award winner, submit your vote by clicking here by November 28th. It is important to note that all buildings must be evaluated before moving on to the next one. And, if you’d like to vote for the plans, click here (the website is in Hungarian).
