– Many years ago I was hospitalized. I was very unwell, and me and my mum were wandering around the building trying to find out where I can get medical help. That’s when I encountered a really handsome young ambulance man who gave us guidelines. After the first check-up I had to go to another and I saw the same guy again. He told me he would take me to all the other medical check-ups I had to go to. I didn’t even feel unwell anymore. Afterwards he took me to the ward and stayed with me all night long trying to cheer me up. And he came back the next day, and again, and again… Unfortunately, life happened in the meantime, and we could not be together straight away. Four years ago one of my friends had her prom night and I caught sight of a familiar ambulance man (they were there to make sure everything went fine) resting on the steering wheel. I went closer to see if it was him, and yes, it was. After the prom we talked a lot and changed numbers. We have been a couple ever since. (Mesi)
– Well here we are just two weeks after getting married in real life. When we first met Emmet left to go backpacking around Europe and cut it short to come back home to me. Nine years later we got married at home in Ireland and planned the honeymoon trip he missed out on. Only this time together and finishing in the wonderful city of Budapest for the Sziget Festival! xxx (Roseanne)– The heat of the moment? Straight to the Chapel from the Luminarium, a ring for 1,000 forints, SOS top-up, witness seeking, an outstanding wedding photographer, and there we have our big day… August 13th. We met exactly a year ago and got close to each other straight away – really close in fact, as we were in a dance camp. We have stayed close ever since on the dance floor and out of it. So do we have an official date? One thing is for sure, our vow on August 13th is not only for the time of Sziget. We love… each other. (Aranka)– We have been together for nearly six months in happiness and in love to Sziget and beyond here on Earth, but we actually met nine years ago. First year of high school. We loved each other back then as well, but our ways parted. For six years we didn’t even know anything about each other, just lived our lives separately.
And then once, at the very right time, we met again: it felt like nothing even happened during those six years, and we had always belonged together somewhere out there. We just let go of each other for a little while and we got more serious… So that’s how we were the first for each other and will be the last. (Viktória)
– This is one of our favorite stories from those times when we were just friends but loved each other already. One day we decided to quit school and go to the shore with a jar of Nutella and some milk. There were a few boats on the bank and we ate sitting on one of them when it started to rain. With no better ideas we crawled under one of the boats to lay down. We talked, listened to music and ate until the night fell upon us. Even the Nutella was gone by then… If it didn’t stop raining maybe we would still be lying there. (Adrienn)– We were good friends for a long time, when one night alcohol made him say how happy we would be if we were a couple; how he would eat breaded chicken with steak potatoes, while I would munch on various vegetables and bio food and he would never ever let me go. How could I have turned down such an offer?!

– It all started with a Facebook like and comment in September, 2015. On that night we were 220 km apart, and were both open for something new. One week later we went on a date and four months later (fighting off the kilometers) we moved in together, and now a whole year passed and we’re renovating. We have different pasts but we have the same temperament and we hope that we’ll share our future. (Dóra)– We met on a dating app. We were perfect match with 150km between us. After two days of typing we had our first date. It was 13th February. Now, after seven months of long-distance relationship, she moves to my place. Wedding tent was the first thing we visited on Sziget. I wondered how would it feel to be married. It feels great! :) (Jason) – He bought me pizza on a drunk enough walk home.
