High-spirited Hungarian photographer Tamás Rizsavi loves extreme situations, and since he works aboard Hungary’s passenger trains, many of his photos feature classic public-transportation vehicles. For a long time now, he is on a mission to capture the Magyar metropolis with a Huawei P8 – a new mobile phone with rather impressive picture-taking features. How impressive, you might ask? Scroll down and see for yourself – with each photo enhanced by Tamás’s commentaries.

“I’ve already mentioned the phone’s light-painting function in the previous article, but I’ve tried it out again. Thanks to the digitalized slow shutter speed, you can easily capture movement with a photo, and while the exposure lasts, you can see the picture on the screen, which isn’t available with DSLR cameras. With this function, it’s easier to decide when the picture is done. All we need is a good spot and a tripod – and, of course, a little bit of patience.”

“For the nighttime pictures, you need nothing else but a well-lit spot and steady hands. The phone’s colors are dynamic and strong, which I really liked since the first time I’ve tested it, and the photos can be edited quickly and easily thanks to the phone’s built-in editor.”

“Also, the phone didn’t fail me when I tried to take a photo while facing the sun. As you can see above, the sun glints beautifully on the photo, which is the gate to a new dimension in terms of mobile photography.”

“Train running at 80 km/h, early in the morning. Of course I had to take a photo. If you don’t have the capacity or the time to take your camera with you to work or to anywhere else, this phone serves as a great alternative and it fits in a thin pocket.”
