Welcome to We Love Budapest's weekly guide to the weekend: here's where to go, what to do, and who must not be missed.

FridayBenjámin Nagy: Human Nature @ Holdudvar, 20:00.
The central theme of the exhibition is how natural motifs impress human culture, or rather, how human activities shape (or modify or distort) nature. The exhibition shows this mapping interaction.

Benjámin Nagy graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2011 as a painter, but recently his means and medium of expression become manipulated founds objects. His works often invite the onlooker to interact. His exhibition "Human Nature" examines the possible and existing interconnections between manmade and controlled natural environments of Margaret Island, and leisure activities of the people coming here. His observations appear in he form of pseudo-ethnographic finds, artefacts in the gallery’s exhibition case. The hand-shaped table-tennis paddle and a badminton racket with a spiderweb offer ironic interpretations of what we think of as leisure in the Budapester’s mind.NIGHTDRIVE @ wndrlnd, 22:00.
Something for your headnodding pleasure: bass music, techno, house, grime, hip-hop, funky and a lot more under the starry sky.

On this night, the best Hungarian DJs will work the dance floor, aiming to create a balance between the sexy and bass heavy, sweet and hard-kicking music. Everything can happen, from acid-pumping techno to footwork, trap and juke... only one thing will remain the same: the quality. Lineup: Headshotboyz, Eirik, NakedKool, Chewby, Skrude & Myamo, Rubbah. Free entry, open air – what else can you ask for?Tesco Disco @ Corvintető, 22:00.
Budapest's famous indie-disco machine is back for another round, spinning the best songs of bands like Foals, MGMT, Arctic Monkeys, and so on.

If you are a fan of guitar-fueled British indie rock and/or poppy electronica, this is your night. Everything can happen, from MGMT to The Libertines, from Kasabian to Franz Ferdinand.

Tesco Disco is Budapest's longest-running party series when it comes to these styles, so you can be sure that even if you don't know what song is playing, the selection will rock, and you will hear the songs of your favorite bands. What's more, entry is free until midnight.SaturdayGardrób's Thrift Shop Community & Common Market @ Central Passage, 11:00.

Bring your old too-big too-small clothes, and maybe somebody will buy them, making the day brighter for everyone.

"One man's trash, that's another man's come-up!" – such is the wisdom of Macklemore's famous song. That's what this day is all about: finding your new favorite clothes for a cheap price, selling old duds, buying something for those you love, and having fun. Meanwhile, Common Market offers a wide variety of healthy food, honey, jam, meats, and spices. This is about local farmers who bring food, vegetables, fruits, and everything else – all without manipulated gens, artificial addictions, or anything like that.Paddy And The Rats @ Barba Negra Track, 19:00.Folk-punk pub-rock featuring those horrible masters that will mix for you anything in music just to make you happy and filled with the joy of living.

If you are a fan of bands like Flogging Molly, the Pogues, or Dropkick Murphys, stop reading this and get down to the concert of the masters of Hungarian pub 'n' roll on Saturday. If you are not a fan of those bands, but like the Stooges or Sex Pistols, imagine them getting drunk on whiskey and beer, and trying to mix their punk-rock on fiddle, tin whistle, banjo, bagpipe, drums, and guitars. Yes, this is the perfect soundtrack for drinking until the sun comes up while having great fun. Be warned – "explosive stage presence" is not enough to describe the madness that these musicians will set free.FeelGood Presents: Akvárium Summ'r @ Akvárium, 23:00.A walk on the wilder side of breakbeat, drumstep, drum 'n' bass, trap, and hip-hop with an all-star Hungarian DJ lineup. Bumaye!

Since it's summertime, there isn't a better thing than grabbing an ice-cold cocktail and dominating the dance floor all night. Of course, there are styles that are invented to start you up, like breakbeat and drum 'n' bass, and this weekend jam will be about these genres. Jade, one of the DJs behind the Eatbrain record label and party series, prefers the "all killer-no filler" attitude when it comes to drum 'n' bass. Dublic, B'Andre, and Ster fancies the even more bass-heavy genres in electronic music: trap, breakbeat, moombahton, and breakbeat is what their DJ sets are about – the louder the better. Ludmilla is one of the genuine Hungarian legends. Her mixes with Beatman (under the name Beatman & Ludmilla) are real classics, and every time she is behind the decks, you can be sure that at least the music will be great.SundayGuided Tour - Hantai Exhibition @ Ludwig Museum, 10:00.
Ludwig Museum presents the first major exhibition of Simon Hantai in Hungary. The large-scale retrospective surveys the key aspects and periods within the oeuvre of the internationally renowned artist of Hungarian origin, from his early paintings executed in Hungary through to his final works.

Simon Hantai had his own unique technique of image-making (so-called pliage): by creasing and folding the canvas, and then covering it with layers of paint, he created specific abstract patterns on huge surfaces, drawing on the results of the Pollockian sense of freedom in painting, as well as on the explorations of light, color and surface accomplished by French artists. His works created by the method of folding became arranged in consecutive series, or sequences of form (Mariales or The Virgin´s Mantles, Catamurons, Panses or Sausages, Meuns, Études, Blancs or Whites, and Tabulas). But visitors will also have the chance to see his early paintings too.Mátyás Boros: Private Reality @ Brody Studios, noon.
The works of Matyás are composed by a compilation of trivial objects, collected photographs and encyclopedia images. He connects the collected images with personal gestures, thoughts or statements that create a new meaning, and a new reality.

“Small details, complexity are what matter to me – not only for semiotic reasons – because of the techniques I apply. I am always searching for new ways of expressing myself in graphic art and hand-drawn methods. I often combine traditional print-making and analogue methods with digital technology. This leads to a 'borderline' phenomenon, a characterizing component of my body of work,” says the artist.

Each image is transformed into another context, abandoning its earlier environment and opening our eyes to a new feeling or a new reality that we all interpret individually.Patent, Roy & Ádám @ Kobuci Kert, 19:00.
The Hungarian chart champions, song producers, charmers, and devotees perform on this very night with a fresh-faced pop-rock band.

Roy & Ádám Trio is of the most popular Hungarian pop bands, playing songs from kicking rock 'n' roll to easy listening in a truly top-class manner since 1998. When they aren't on the stage, you should start looking for them in the best studios of the country, working as producers. Thus they always appear on the charts, either with their own song or through a song they worked on. If a band keeps going on for so long, you might think that it is the routine and the money that keeps them together, but when it comes to them, the joy of playing and performing is what continues to inspire them.+1: Sziget Livestream! If you couldn't make it to the "Island of Freedom" this year, but would love to see some of the bands, here's the magic trick: catch the live stream of their concerts! Avoiding the sweating partygoers that kick the beer out of your hands, but still getting to see your favorite band playing at Sziget? Sounds nice. Keep checking the festival's site for detailed information about when the streaming starts and when they'll repeat the already-streamed concerts.
