Welcome to We Love Budapest's weekly guide to the weekend: here's where to go, what to do, and who must not be missed.

FridayVANS Classics & A38 @ A38 Ship, 14:00.
Waffles, a great mix of styles and musicians (from footwork to hardcore punk, from DJs to live acts), a half pipe on top of the ship, and free gifts for everybody.

Before we jump to the best part of this program (spoiler: the stellar band lineup), let's say some words about what you can expect apart from great music: you can paint shoes with invited masters of brush and graffiti cans, or eat special Vans-shaped waffles. The organizers will build a half-pipe on the top deck of A38 Ship, where future Tony Hawks can test their skills and make you rethink what you thought about extreme sports. Not to mention that if you arrive early enough, you get a free goodie bag. Okay, now the bands, live acts, and DJs: Show Your Otherside,

Satelles, Dryvia, Headshotboyz, Uffalo Steez, Route 8, iamyank, and Cadik – just to name some of our favorites.Nanushka & HŐTEL NOMURI Present: Snap Back Party @ HŐTEL NOMURI, 22:00.
Celebrate hip-hop with a party that will transport you back into the genre's golden age. To help the time-transcending journey, Nanushka designed 33 limited-edition snap-back caps, which will be available for purchase only on this night.

Hip-hop is about MCs. And scratching. And basketball. And caps. And slang. And, of course, rapping. If you are into the aforementioned things but haven't tried the music yet, this is your night. The two guys behind Magas Élet (High Life) will pack the funky beats and old-school tunes, Nomuri will host the party itself, and Nanushka will make the night even more special with 33 limited-edition snap-back caps – and all of them will have the monogram of the wearer on them, so you surely won't find them anywhere else.Bladerunnaz Presents: Hybrid Minds @ Akvárium Club, 22:00.
The trio of Josh White, Matt Lowe and Jeff Crake create one of the most innovative acts in electronic music with their melodic, soulful take on drum and bass.

Combining hard drums, delicate vocals, and enchanting melodies, Hybrid Minds represents the softer side of d'n'b; it's no surprise that they've already collaborated with musicians like DJ Hype, S.P.Y., Netsky, or Grooverider. They've entered the liquid scene with The Place – a smooth-sounding classic that features all the elements that now make up the distinctive sound of Hybrid Minds. Since then, this fresh new three-piece has gone from strength to strength, with their smooth, melodic brand of liquid gaining them releases on some of the most respected labels on the scene. After huge hits including the stunning Lost EP on Audioporn (which received over half a million views on UKF), the follow-up Heartfelt EP on Austrian label Mainframe, a remix for Jakwob’s ‘Blinding’, and a release on Allsorts, Hybrid Minds has become synonymous with the best liquid d'n'b – all in only two years.
Bang Dat! #6 - Honey-T, Sirmo & Bergi, Shadam, Bronks, Husky Joe @ Fogasház, 22:00.
You can count on the Hungarian and Czech DJs to cover nearly all segments of electronic music – from UK funky to techno, from deep house to future garage.

What can you expect from a Honey-T DJ set? First of all, the mixing will be on point. It is not unusual to see him switching effortlessly between drum 'n' bass, dubstep, breakbeat, 2step, and house. In addition to that, you will be treated to an array of turntablist tricks and digital effects to kick the atmosphere up a notch.

As well as DJ-ing, Honey-T produces his own music. Using Ableton Live as his primary tool, Honey has cultivated a deep sound that spans several genres and ignores BPM restrictions, focusing on synthesis rather than sampling. The same can be told about the Hungarian DJs that will join forces to make this night even more memorable.SaturdayNOMURI PICNIC @ Vituki Beach, 15:00.
Beach volleyball, ice-cold coolers and cocktails, sexy dance music, and tasty treats all day and all of the night! Did we say the party will take place at a private beach, where only guests can attend? (Yep, no families and no volume limits.)

Altough we love clubbing, during summer we prefer the places where we can jump into a pool to cool ourselves down a bit. The owners of Hotel Nomuri share the love for beaches, ice-cold cocktails, and wet vibes, so they've decided to "transport" the whole club to a place where good music meets swimming pools and grilled goods come with a lemonade. There will be no volume limit or anything that would spoil the fun, so no excuses this time! DJs: Blatti, Madox aka Marco Grandi, Daniel Page, B.A.N, Maple Dip, Holic and Skiz.LavaLava Presents: Glaubic, Hi & Manek, Tolo, Falcao @ Corvintető, 22:00.

The founders of Deathwish Inc., the biggest names in the hardcore-metal scene, are back for a really heavy show with two up-and-coming bands.

Every Converge album is a milestone in the heavy music community, and the band's latest ("All We Love We Leave Behind") is the most integral album to date in a catalog that's celebrated to an almost religious degree by countless fans of punk, metal and hardcore. For the first time in years, "All We Love We Leave Behind" is an album that contains no special guests or outside collaborators, and every aspect of the music, production, and aesthetics of the album was handled by Converge in order to give listeners an unfiltered glimpse into the creative vision of these Boston-based innovators.

Coming from a longstanding tradition of killer Swedish punk bands, Martyrdöd has been making an exhilarating racket for many years, and now they are coming to Budapest for the first time. Before them, Okkultokrati plays a furious combination of hardcore, crust, black metal, sludge, and d-beat.

Boban & Marko Markovics Orkestar @ Margaret Island Open-Air Stage, 20:00.
Boban and Marko Markovic are the undisputed kings of Balkan brass music – their frenetic and funky blend of Balkan and Gypsy roots will surely make you dance!

The quintessential Balkan brass band from Southern Serbia's Vladicin Han captured the mantle of “Leading Band in Serbia”, a title for which they have been crowned many times since the late 1980s. Their music, performed by a 13-piece orchestra, is wholly defined by their own Gypsy lineage, whilst giving a knowing nod towards other musical and cultural backgrounds closely related to Romani traditions. Boban and his orchestra have won all of the most prestigious accolades available to players in Serbia: ‘Trumpet Maestro’ (2 times), ‘Golden Trumpet’, ‘First Trumpet’, ‘The Best Orchestra’, and ‘ The Best Concert’. Most of the members have been presented at the renowned "Dragacevski Sabor" in Guca, Southern Serbia – a festival noted to attract fierce competitions among both the players and audiences of up to 600,000 people.
