Sting to return to Budapest for summer 2019
Sting is head over heels for Budapest. After a successful free show with Shaggy a month ago on Heroes’ Square, the former Police frontman has just announced another Budapest concert for next summer. On 2 July, the Grammy-winning singer brings his My Songs tour to the Papp László Aréna, where he will be taking the stage with his own band. From “Englishman In New York” to “Every Breath You Take”, the set should include Sting’s biggest hits. Tickets are on sale now.
Sting fans in Budapest have been spoiled for choice recently. For the third year in a row, the British star has selected the Hungarian capital among his concert locations. The 2019 tour will look back on the artist’s career that embraces songs such as Fields Of Gold, Shape Of My Heart, Roxanne and Message In A Bottle. Tickets are already available on the Live Nation website.
Sting has just visited Budapest to promote 44/876, his collaborative release with Shaggy. The free open-air concert took place last month on Heroes’ Square. In 2017, Sting also performed the Budapest leg of his 57th & 9th tour at the Papp László Aréna, the same location where he returns next year.
