“A Tale of Two Cities” – see Budapest through the eyes of Vice magazine

North American magazine Vice uncovers Budapest with a cool new video and two detailed articles on the city’s music scene and Hungary’s exciting gastronomy. When London became a bit too much for presenter Laura Jackson, she packed her bags and hopped over here. She plunged into the thermal pools at the beautiful Gellért Baths and then met a local friend who took her to the world-famous New York Café, and to north Buda to discover local delicacies. Afterwards, they had time to relax at the lovely Római Shore, and pop into the Great Market Hall and the Széchenyi Baths.

In cooperation with the Hungarian Tourism Agency, Vice has tried to capture the essence of Hungary, visiting the most iconic places in Budapest. They highlight what makes Budapest special, the colourful culture that mingles Eastern and Western influences. In the two articles, the country’s fantastic festivals, best hangouts and Budapest’s culinary revolution are all given special attention. We wouldn’t like to reveal too much, so click here and let Laura guide you around our magical city.
