Budapest Pálinka Festival
2012 will be the year of apricot at the Budapest Pálinka Festival. Between 10 and 13 May visitors are welcome in one of the largest gastronomic events of the capital in the Buda Castle. Apricot and the “hungaricum” made from it, apricot pálinka will be in the limelight this year. Those interested will be able to sample hundreds of pálinkas including the Apricot Pálinka of the Year that will be made as a joint effort by Hungary’s pálinka producers for the first time. The site will be extended by a new 1200 m2 indoor venue, where you can reserve tables in advance.
