Pop City Trash-Photo exhibition of Hubertus von Hohenlohe

2011. 07. 13.

Hubertus von Nohenlohe, a contemporary photographer, sportman and singer was born in a German celebrity and aristocratic family in Mexico.

Pop City Trash is the mixture of the messages of ”Urban Jungle” and the ”Elegantly Wasted”, two former exhibitions. It reflects elegantly and spontaneously the modern urban lifestyle from a passive view. The everyday flow of the visual information is shown ironically on huge screens. The contradiction of the modern capitalist lifestyle is in the main focus. As he looks for his artistic identity the influences of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, a childlike thinking and the aesthetic of the weekdays are reflected on the works. ”Beauty” and ”trash” gets a new explanation.
