Normafa is a very popular destination among hikers in Budapest. It lies high in the hills of Buda. It has beautiful panorama on the Buda hills and a great number of routes in the protected forest to walk. The surroundings of Normafa are also famous about their 19th century cottage-style villa-architecture. The district is still one of the most prestigious living areas in the whole country, so if you like walking around evaluating houses, it is an ideal place for that. Mátyás király, Normafa or Őzike streets feature the most beautiful buildings.
