Lipótváros

József Attila Street divides the 5th district into two from Chain Bridge to Erzsébet Square. The northern part is the one that we call Lipótváros. It is actually a cut up governmental area. You find the Houses of Parliament, the Basilica, the Museum of Ethnography, the MTA, the Gresham Palace, the building of the Supreme Court and most of the ministry buildings, governmental offices and some major banks here. Most buildings are remarkable in eclectic style and wide pedestrian streets, elegant avenues and the Szabadság Square attract tourists.
