Mezzo is a brand new, real Buda-style restaurant. The transformation of the former John Bull restaurant in the worn Maros Street has become a great success. It now has a trendy, modern, elegant design, with an extravagant, bistro-like ‘not-too-posh’ interior. There are live music every evening, separated smoking section, and a huge crowd. The kitchen follows international trends with Spanish tapas, seafood risotto, gambas pil pil, or Thai green curry. We recommend the place either for business dinners or for dates. The G-clef pattern of the floor carpet could be an excellent ‘ice-breaker’ if conversation stops.
