Gepárd és Űrhajó Borbistro (Cheetah and Spaceship Wine Bistro) is an exciting and daring concept. The latter attribute is especially fitting, since the survival of any bar or restaurant in this vacuum of a neighborhood stretching between Szabadság híd (Liberty Bridge) and Erzsébet híd (Elizabeth Bridge) is not assured. The name of the spot might reflect the owner’s adventurous attitude. As for the dishes and the drinks, the kitchen’s performance if nearly flawless, while the wine selection is varied, and several bottles are available for sampling. Although the atmosphere need some fine-tuning, Gepárd és Űrhajó is still a great place to spend a few calm hours at.
