Schönherz Dormitory is the biggest and the most famous dormitory of BME. Many students think it is a kind of privilege to live here because this huge, 16-storey building was completely renovated in 2008. Besides the comfort it provides, the communal life and students organizations attract many young people. Schönherz Qpa (Cup) has always been one of the most enjoyable university contests and some of the tasks became legendary all over Budapest. The most spectacular event of the programs is when they set a giant projector over the windows of the dormitory just like a huge lightpainting show. Anyone can watch this event.
