Dos and Don'ts in the cold

2012. 02. 08.

Minuses have taken over Budapest but don’t panic, this weather can also be good for this or that. What follows are some tips to help you get out from under the blanket and out to the street.

Dos: Have a hot chocolate at Chocoroom or heat your cold body with a cup or more cups of tea at Zöld Teknős! If you can’t take it without fresh air in spite of the tough conditions, put on some warm clothes: cap, scarf, gloves, thick coat and fur boots. There’s no such thing as bad weather, only insufficient gear and a saunter in the beautiful downtown of the city is worth any amount of additional layers. If you’re really fed up with the sub-zeros but don’t want to leave Budapest, why don’t you pay a visit to one of the baths, such as Veli Bej? If you wish for more than warmness, such as an immune system that can cope with the cold, choose one of the Hot Yoga studios of Budapest.
Don’ts: Cheer up, spring is on the way!
