Gondozó Kert ("Nursing Garden") is a ruin pub situated in a dilapidated part of Budapest’s seventh district. Its name derives from the fact that the building housing Gondozó Kert used to be a nursery home. Now that it’s gone, the sizeable walls are covered in a labyrinth of climbing ivy, while the garden is crowded with the usual party supplies – foosball tables, concerts (jazz on Thursdays), DJs (on Fridays and Saturdays), and heaps of good people. Several great ideas are waiting to be put into practice, with the least significant being the establishment of a fish pond, while the list of major innovations include a youth hostel upstairs and a concert room in the hangar. To put the icing on the cake, Parapark can also be found in Gondozó's vicinity, providing a one-of-a-kind, one-hour-long experience for those brave enough to enter a riddle-filled cellar.
