Castle of Arts
Three-day Easter festivities at the Buda Castle with continuous musical performances and those of folklore groups. At the Népművészeti és Iparművészeti Kézműves Vásár (Folk Art and Industrial Design Fair) gastronomic specialties and cooking shows await the hungry carried out by László Benke, alias Uncle Leslie, the well-known Hungarian chef and Barbara Hegyi, the renowned Hungarian actress.

Chocolate tour
A real Easter chocolate tour starting with chocolate fondue at the entrance of the museum followed by a walk through a space reminiscent of chocolate shops of the early 1900s. There’s also chocolate making, that is, you can create your very own chocolate and take it home. Finally, you can taste hot chocolate in the park, where you can also participate in the egg search, the sprinkling poem reciting competition or horseshoes.

Easter in City Park
Vajdahunyadvár will house an Easter event this year, too. Visitors to the City Park can wonder at the beautiful and huge eggs, learn about the stories and customs associated with Easter and check out the fair, where handicraft presentations will also be held.
Children’s Easter at Millenáris – 7 April 2012

Basket weaving and felting. Egg painting and egg decoration with wax. Concerts and tales. All of these await families at Millenáris Park but don’t stay at home even if weather turns unfavorable because the event is moved indoors, to the Fogadó.
Easter at the Amusement Park – 8 April 2012
Merry-go-round, bumper cars, eggs.
If you decide to spend Easter Sunday in the Amusement Park, you can take part in all sorts of fun with eggs: search, painting and decoration. Also, you can learn various techniques with napkins. In addition, there will be opportunity to stroke fluffy rabbits.
Allee – 16 March - 15 April 2012
Easter! Allee!
Allee has been preparing for spring and Easter for some weeks now. Thus, both before and after the long weekend visitors can give a try to egg painting, weaving and clay sculpting. Allee will accommodate a room for stroking rabbits and sheep, where a thatched roofed cottage and chicken barn will make the holiday celebration more authentic.

Palace of Arts for babies
The Palace of Arts has something in store for families with babies: children under 2 can enjoy the Babyhouse of Music while older children will be welcome to the musical, dance and tale performances and creative workshops. All of these in the guise of Easter, of course.
